Dear Stakeholders,

We are writing to provide an update regarding the current status of the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education accreditation process.

As of May 1, CNME has proactively engaged two experienced external consultants, Dr. Joseph Brimhall and Dr. Kathleen Galligan, to support the organization during this period. Both bring deep expertise in accreditation and have successfully guided accrediting bodies through complex regulatory environments. Their involvement strengthens CNME’s strategic positioning and reinforces our commitment to a thorough, well-executed response process.

CNME has submitted its formal response following the initial recommendation from the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity and is currently within the 30-day review window. We are actively engaged in this process and prepared for the next phase as soon as further communication is received.

Importantly, CNME continues to operate from a position of stability and continuity. All accreditation activities, including program reviews and institutional support, are proceeding as planned without interruption.

We remain confident in the strength of our processes and our ability to navigate this period effectively. Our focus is on ensuring clarity, alignment, and long-term resilience for the institutions and stakeholders we serve.

We will continue to provide timely updates as additional information becomes available.

Thank you for your continued trust and engagement.

Sincerely,
Council on Naturopathic Medical Education
